ALTEC was proud to serve one of Dongguan’s finest industries during the week of April 1st.

This is round two of OJT at this particular factory. The first group of SMEs and Evaluators taught the organization a lot about how OJT fits into their company culture, and how employees work into the employee engagement equation when using a systematic and structured OJT system.

This second group of SMEs proved to be clearly above average individuals. They finished almost 80% of their SME practicum requirements during the three days of training. Normally, candidates are given 6 more days of practicum to complete a series of tasks for certification. These individuals really inspired me!

Due to other demands, I will return the week of the 12th to finish their certification.

More updates after that.

Turf War in Macau

ALTEC was proud to serve Ralph Lauren’s AP Management Team on 16 March 2010 at the Westin Resort in Macau.

The morning started off with a short warmup followed by the Silk Road Adventure. The RL Team did a wonderful job, bringing back around 70% of the available GOLD.

The afternoon was entirely outdoors, and had three events: HK/Macau Express, Turf War, and What I Like About You.

The team did a great job of constructing the HK/Macau Express, which led into the next great fun!

The RL team had a particularly fun time shooting water balloons with those cool launchers. They were also good at making sure they hit the HQ, which ended up being a very WET afternoon for Michael. Great FUN!

What I Like About You

After drying off, we got set for the finale.

The wrap-up for the day was What I Like About You.

This is a very simple event, where all participants have a piece of paper on their backs, and all other participants must write something positive about that person on their paper.

It’s a high-energy activity because everyone wants to write on everyone else’s back.

All this is done to the music of The Romantics.

At the end of the day, it was time for ALTEC to head down to Taipa for an evening of rest and good food. What an event!

ALTEC offers this as a free service through our website, and all participating organizations will receive a “simple” report which can provide them revealing data on how engaged their organization is, from the worker level all the way to senior management and organizational culture.

The process is quite simple:

Contact ALTEC about your interest (or reply to our invitation if you received one)

Sign a non-disclosure agreement with ALTEC to protect any information you share with ALTEC

Send ALTEC a CSV formatted file (Excel is OK too)

Two fields per line: name and email address for each individual to take the survey

Many names can be sent to the same email address for people who may not have access to a computer at their work site

ALTEC uses the file to generate invitations to take the survey, each individual has a unique identifier

Individuals take the survey. The system will know who has completed, not started, or not finished, and will send reminders to those who have not finished before the survey cut-off date

When all participants have taken the survey, raw data from the database will be extracted for your organization only. Original data remains on server

ALTEC will forward the raw data and a simple report to your organization

Your organization is now benchmarked

For more information on how to participate, please Engage ALTEC or call one of our hotlines.
